RV Sales is pleased to bring you tips on air
conditioning and heating maintenance for your RV.
Whether you purchase a new or used motor home or RV, regular maintenance
needs to be done in order
to ensure that when you are ready for your next trip everything will be
in working order.
Here are some helpful tips to think of in reference to the heating and
cooling of your RV:
-
in order to prevent overuse of your air conditioning unit in the
summer, consider purchasing
awnings to help shade your RV
-
clean the filters on a regular basis when the air conditioner is
being used throughout the year
-
clean the condenser a couple of times per year. In order to do
this, blow compressed air
through the coil from the inside out. If you use water to clean the
condenser coil, remember
to disconnect any power when cleaning
-
for any major repairs to your air conditioner consult a qualified
service technician.
Contact our service department if you have any questions
-

RV furnace fan
-
check the air intake/outake on regular intervals to ensure efficient
use of the furnace
-

obstructions
-
if you haven't used the air conditioner or furnace for a while, it
